MEETING MAYNARD At first I thought it was over blown myth, ya know - those wacky urban folk lore tales shared by fun loving friends. And I expected that when (IF!) I got a chance to see this person named Maynard I'd find that indeed my Disneyland-loving friends had truly blown this one way out of proportion. But NO WAY!!! Much to our collective surprise - there he was, on the Haunted Mansion pacing in a Maynard-like trance, escorting - no - scaring the guests out of their ghost buggies. Then Katty approached and out came the tortured, three-eyed squeeze toy and then the faces and then that goulish laugh. I was hooked and haven't looked back since! I'm a died-in-the-goul fan for sure. Rest asured my fellow Maynard fans, somewhere from beyond a frozen but smiling Walt is very happy knowing his guests are being cared for by such a talented cast member.
